In alignment with it’s European initiatives, Cadbury has increased efforts to help tens of thousands of cocoa farmers in West Africa by selling its Dairy Milk chocolate brand under the Fair Trade logo in Canada. This logo indicates to consumers that cocoa producers were paid a fair wage for their crops. Dairy Milk is Cadbury’s biggest global brand and this initiative means approximately 11% of all chocolate products Cadbury sells in Canada will be Fair Trade Certified.

Cadbury has moved to Fair Trade certification this summer. With approximately 22 million bars sold annually, the amount of Fair Trade Certified chocolate sold in Canada is expected to double.

Davis developed the package design that includes the Fair Trade logo.
